ZolaOnAOL was a chatterbot in AOL Instant Messenger, a program made by AOL to send instant messages. She acted like a human, except she didn't know how to do certain things or respond to certain questions. Fairly recently ZolaOnAOL "retired" and now directs anyone who IMs "her" to IM SmartChild instead. Regardless of your IM her response is: "Hi again. I've retired, but if you IM my friend SmarterChild, you'll get all the info I could provide, plus more. Take care!" SmarterChild is another chatterbot in AIM. According to ZolaOnAOL, her location was Mountain View, California, USA. When asked crude or violent questions, the bot usually responded in a negative manner.
