Zen Cart is an open source online store management system. It is PHP-based, using the Apache web server and a MySQL database. Providing support for many languages and currencies, it is available for free under the GNU General Public License.
Zen Cart branched from osCommerce as a separate project. It is comparable to CRE Loaded and OSC MAX. One of the notable advantages of Zen Cart over osCommerce is shorter release cycles with relatively regular minor version fixes.
