Welcome To Hell is the 1981 debut album by the black metal band Venom. Musically, this album is closer to NWOBHM than to their Thrash Metal and Black Metal style were the band would become famous yet it already combined Metal with the simplicity and vocals of Punk, and is basically the start of true Thrash Metal as it influenced acts like Metallica and Slayer. Venom would later further unificate Proto-Thrash, Crust Punk and NWOBHM marking the birth of the album Black Metal and a groundwork for metal subgenre of Black metal.
