Watch Over Me is a telenovela set to debut in December 7, 2006 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on the American television network MyNetworkTV. It is produced by Twentieth Television. The program will air for a 65 episode run. New episodes will run on weekdays for 13 weeks, with a recap show on Saturdays. Puerto Rican actress Dayanara Torres, a former Miss Universe, plays a gorgeous woman torn between her finace and her bodyguard, played by Casper Van Dien. Catherine Oxenberg, Casper's real life wife, also stars. Actor Dan Wells is also one of the stars. The show was originally intended to run under the "Secret Obsessions" umbrella title. Watch Over Me is an adaptation of Telefe Argentina's Resistire serial. The show has a special promotional deal with Wal-Mart, which will provide wardrobe for the cast.
