The War or Wars of the Roses may refer to:
Wars of the Roses, the civil war that took place in Medieval England between the House of York and the House of Lancaster.
Origin Series, Rugby League matches between Lancashire and Yorkshire nicknamed the "War of The Roses"
Roses Tournament, annual sports competition between Lancaster University and the University of York
The 1888 campaign for governor of Tennessee was designated "The War of the Roses" because it was contested by two brothers, Alfred A. Taylor and Robert Love Taylor, who wore red and white roses respectively while campaigning in honor of the Medieval English war mentioned above fought between two related royal houses.
