Villa Alegre was a bilingual (Spanish/English) television show for children, produced in the United States. It ran on the PBS network, premiering in 1973 and running for at least a few years thereafter. The show centered on life in a Mexican village.If remembered at all, it's for the show's catchy, Spanish-flavored theme song, which ended with kids shouting "Villa Alegre!"
