    Vila do Porto (pron. ; Portuguese for town of the port) is the single municipality on the island of Santa Maria, in the Portuguese Autonomous Region of Azores. It is the southernmost and the easternmost municipality in the Azores archipelago. The nearest island is São Miguel to the north with the nearest municipality being Povoação. It is located SE of São Miguel and SW of the Formigas Islets.

    The main source of industry are agriculture and fishing while a small number of businesses are in the downtown area.

    Vila do Porto has a few schools, one lyceum, a gymnasium, banks, a post office, a small port and a square or a plaza (praça).
