    Playing Style

Tetsu is renowned for his melodic style of bass playing. Many L'arc's song involves Ken(guitar) playing rhythm and Tetsu playing the melodic parts, only for ken to open the song and solo during the break. Some examples are 'Blurry eyes' and 'Stay away' which feature sophisticated (yet consistent) bass patterns.

Tetsu plays mainly with a pick and plays ESP basses. However, he consistently plays fingered bass for some songs such as "Jyojyoushi" and "Ophelia".
