    Ten years after the Sith War, the Dark Lord of the Sith's chief lieutenant, Ulic Qel-Droma has been stripped of his Force powers and has isolated himself in a distant corner of the galaxy, trying to escape from a life he would rather forget. But his past is about to catch up with him as he is tracked down by Vima, the daughter of Nomi Sunrider, the woman who blinded Ulic to the Force. Vima seeks a teacher and Ulic sees in her a chance at redemption. Unfortunately, Vima's disappearance draws attention, and the search party sent to look for her includes a vicious Jedi seeking revenge upon Ulic for killing her mate.

    Issue 1, A Gathering of Jedi
    The time is ten years after the Sith War. Exar Kun has been trapped in his Massassi temple. His chief lieutenant, Ulic Qel-Droma, was stripped of his powers -- by Nomi Sunrider, after he killed his brother Cay. Ulic has isolated himself, he wishes only to hide from the Republic, and hope history will forget what he's done.

    Issue 2, The Search for Peace
    Guilt-ridden, Ulic Qel-Droma hides from his past on the frozen world of Rhen Var. Meanwhile, on Exis station, Nomi Sunrider calls together the Jedi Knights to discuss the future of the Republic. After hearing so much about Ulic and remembering him from her childhood, Vima Sunrider decides to go in search of him. When Hoggon discovers Vima on his ship, he is astounded to learn that the mysterious stranger he took to Rhen Var is in fact Ulic himself.

    Issue 3, Homecoming
    Vima Sunrider finally meets Ulic Qel-Droma, and instead of reminding the once-great Jedi of his glorious past, Vima is only a grim reminder of the power he once commanded and can never hold again!

    Issue 4, Trials of a Jedi
    On Rhen Var, the powerless, exiled Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma continues to train Vima. Sylvar, the ferocious Cathar Jedi, has gone into isolation herself, directing all her anger and energy toward thoughts of revenge aimed at Ulic. But when a messenger comes to her campfire, informing her that Vima Sunrider has vanished, she rushes to offer Nomi any help she can give.

    Issue 5, Master
    Nomi Sunrider travels to Rhen Var to find her daughter training with Ulic Qel-Droma. She tries to take Vima away but sees that she needs to make her own decisions. Sylvar also arrives on Rhen Var seeking to kill Ulic for killing her mate. But while fighting Ulic she comes to understand that she needs to move beyond her anger over her mate's death.
