Talaud Islands is a group of islands located north of Sulawesi island in Indonesia. It is one of the regencies of North Sulawesi. Talaud islands is also Indonesia's northmost region, bordering Philippines to the north. As the regency is economically poor, the central government has agreed to construct road of 91 km long with the budget of 14 millions Rupiah.
