Skipball is a unique obscure sport that requires a large body of water, "skip-balls," as well as several players.
What you need to play 1. A large rectangular shaped pool 2. A foam stress ball (preferably 2 1/4"-3 1/2" diameter) with a smooth coating (vinyl works well) to allow for adequate skipping 3. Two teams (with 2-5 people on each team) Note: Single play (1 v 1) can be attempted but is not recommended as it is not nearly as exciting or as fun as play with 2-5 people on each team. How to play Basic Objective: skip the ball from one side of the pool to the other and get it past your opponent for a score. First team to 15 (win by two) wins the game. Best Set-up: a large rectangular area, whether it be a large pool or a roped-off area at a lake. The game itself is quite simple There are two teams who take sides opposite each other in a rectangular water area (lake/pool). There are usually 2-5 players on each team, with one team on defense and one on offense. Offense/Defense switches with every throw: A team throws, trying to score, the team they shot at now shoots, etc... The objective of the game is to throw the ball and skip it across the water past the opposing team's defense. If this is accomplished, the shooter's team is awarded one point. For each score, 1 point is awarded. The objective of the game is to be the first team to reach the scoring apex of 15 points (and win by two).
