Robot Dreams is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov, written for the 1986 story collection Robot Dreams.
"Robot Dreams" involves Dr. Susan Calvin, chief robopsychologist at US Robots. An employee at US Robots informs Dr. Calvin that one of the company's robots was experiencing dreams. Upon questioning, the employee reveals that she had designed the robot brain with a fractal design. The robot had dreamed that it was a human. It had seen other robots working hard, and unwillingly. Then the robot dreamed that it had said, "Let my people go!"

Dr. Calvin has the robot destroyed.
