Richard Beatty Mellon (1858–1933) was the brother of Andrew W. Mellon. Richard's daughter Sarah along with her younger brother R.K., were heirs to the Mellon fortune, including Mellon Financial Corporation and major investments in Gulf Oil and Alcoa.
