A psi ball is claimed to be a psionic construct that is usually formed into a spherical shape by a practitioner of psionics, to be used in a variety of ways. Those who believe in their existence assert that they can be formed in a variety of different shapes, sizes and temperatures, depending on the creator's wishes and that they may also be formed at any location, even if the location is external to the creator's vision. Some people even believe these locations can include other dimensions, planes, or domains. Psi balls are said to be capable of performing many different tasks, such as healing, protection, telekinesis, or sending short telepathic messages. The energy is said to come from both inside the mind of the practitioner and also from a variety of external sources, such as the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. "Energy" in this instance is a catch-all term for the unknown cause of the effects witnessed by practitioners of psionics. (see spiritual energy). This subject is viewed with skepticism by most mainstream scientists and is considered pseudoscience because the nature of energy as defined by modern science does not generally support it being formed in or staying in a spherical shape without an enclosure of some kind. There have been no controlled scientific studies showing support for the existence of psi balls. Many believers claim that psi balls are typically invisible and therefore may only be felt. However, people who claim to be skilled psychics claim to be able to construct psi balls that are visible to others, though there has been no proof of this. People who claim to be sensitive to auras also say they have the ability to detect invisible psi balls. In many internet communities that practice psionics, the creation of psi balls is seen to be an essential skill and one of the first steps beginners may take in developing their psychic skills. On the contrary, many others who believe in psionics say that psiballs are a completely separate, unnecessary, or fictional aspect of psionics and should not be the first step a beginner takes. Most "PSI Balls" come from within. They say women cannot create "PSI Balls" due to the fact they don't have enough energy. The first step to creating a Psi Ball is to cup your hands together. Second, visualize energy (any form you wish to imagine it taking is fine) collecting in the palms of your hands, and being pushed between your hands. Three, if you have created a psi ball (you might not be able to see it, but you should be able to feel it there), you can throw it or create a construct from it.
