The Online News Association is an association composed largely of professional online journalists. It has more than 800 members including news writers, producers, designers, editors, photographers, and others who produce news for the Internet or other digital delivery systems, as well as academic members and others interested in the development of online journalism. ONA also, in partnership with USC Annenberg School for Communication, administers the prestigious Online Journalism Awards.

    CyberJournalist.net
CyberJournalist.net is a news and resource publication from the Online News Association that focuses on how the Internet, convergence and new technologies are changing the media. The site was founded in 2000 by Jonathan Dube, who continues to serve as its editor and publisher, to offer tips, news and commentary about online journalism, citizen's media, digital storytelling, converged news operations and using the Internet as a reporting tool.

In 2001, CyberJournalist.net coined the term J-Blog to refer to blogs written by journalists. Since then, the site has maintained the most comprehensive collection of links to J-Blogs online, according to Nieman Reports. In 2004, CyberJournalist.net helped found the Media Bloggers Association, a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting MBA members and their blogs, educating bloggers, and promoting the explosion of citizen's media.

CyberJournalist.net maintains one of the largest collections of outstanding online journalism in its Great Work Gallery; and one of the larger collections of links to citizen journalism.
