Omnipage is a high end OCR tool available from the ScanSoft division of Nuance Communications. It converts images such as scanned paper documents, and PDF files, into file formats used by PC applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF or HTML files. OmniPage is in competiton with Readiris and Abbyy Fine Reader.
