Omar Alghabra (Arabic: عُمر الغبرا) (born October 24, 1969 in Saudi Arabia) is a Canadian Member of Parliament and former president of the Canadian Arab Federation.
He was elected to represent the riding of Mississauga—Erindale, Ontario as a member of the Liberal Party in the 2006 federal election. He is currently the Associate Critic for Social Development. Alghabra has also served on the Community Editorial Board of the Toronto Star.
A professional engineer licensed in Ontario, he is a graduate of the mechanical engineering program at Ryerson University in Toronto and of the Master of Business Administration program at York University.
