Old Low Franconian (also Old Low Frankish) was a group of West Germanic dialects spoken in the Low countries, the most western tip of Germany and northern France. They were the decendants of the Old Frankish language, the language of the Franks. Old Low Franconian was divided in 2 groups; Old Dutch (Also Old West Low Franconian) and Old East Low Franconian.
