The Ohio State University at Marion campus in Marion County, Ohio is a coeducational public university founded in 1957. Its 180-acre campus is situated in a small rural town located 45 miles north of Columbus. There are 6 buildings in the campus. OSU Marion has baccalaureate program accreditation with NCATE. A Post-Secondary Enrollment Option at the campus is a highly selective program which provides opportunity for qualified students to enroll in college while still in high school. Two extensions connected with the Marion campus are the '''OSU Delaware Center''' and the Alber Enterprise Center The OSU Delaware Center is located at 7774 Graphics Way, Lewis Center, Ohio, near the corner of U.S. 23 and Orange Road, just 4.5 miles north of Interstate 270. The Center offers a diverse day and evening class schedule each quarter. Students may take many of the courses to complete the first two years of many Ohio State's degrees or all course requirements for an Associate of Arts degree. Some selected graduate programs in education are also offered at the Center. The Alber Enterprise Center is a campus-based corporate education center. It helps providing work force training,organization development, and performance improvement techniques. It is a resource, research, and education tool for business and industry for students at the Marion Campus and Deleware center.
