    The Office of Justice Programs (or OJP) is the branch of the United States Department of Justice that focuses on crime prevention through research and technology development, assistance to state and local law enforcement and criminal justice agencies through grants, and assistance to crime victims.

    The major bureaus of OJP include:


    Other offices include the Community Capacity Development Office (CCDO), which manages the Weed & Seed program which aims to reduce violence and drug-related crime in local communities.

    OJP is headed by Regina B. Schofield, who was confirmed Assistant Attorney General for the OJP on June 8, 2005.
