The octopus is an amusement ride in the shape of an octopus. Eight arms attached to a central axis spin and move up and down in random, whilst cars at the end of the arms spin on ratary bolts. (Some rides have 1 / 2 or 4 cars at the end of each arm. On some rides the cars instead of being on top of the arm are suspended below the arms usually common an 4 cars per arm octopus rides).
