The Norridgewock were a People of the Dawn, an Eastern tribe of the United States. These people occupied an area adjacent to the Penawapskewi (or Penobscot) tribe, which was located on the western bank of what is now known as the Penobscot River. With the advent of newcomers to the area, the Norridgewock left their neighbors and rerooted in what is now known as Quebec.
