is the main character of the popular manga, Doraemon, by Fujiko F. Fujio.
Nobita is a fourth-grader who lives in Tokyo, Japan. Dumb, weak, lazy, cowardly, poor at sports, and lacking just about any positive attributes. His daily life consists of: arriving late to class, scoring 0% on his exam, being yelled at by his teacher, being bullied by classmates Jaian and Suneo, and getting yelled at by his mom for his abyssmal grades. Doraemon would reluctantly help Nobita with one of his futuristic gadgets but it almost always backfires.
