Million Year Picnic is a little comic shop that has claimed Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts as its home for around thirty years. They offer a sizable amount of superhero comics, manga, independent/small press books, adult comics, trade paperbacks and even books and magazines on the business of comics. They also offer a small number of selected toys and videos.
The store is friendly to newcomers and women; according to an interview with owner Tony Davis by Sequential Tart * 30-35% of the store's business comes from women. The store also offers a subscription service for regular customers.
