    MTV Networks Europe is a Viacom subsidiary in Europe that acts as a sister company to MTV Networks (US). MTVNE produces broadcasts various European MTV and VH1 channels. Unlike its US counterpart, MTVNE does not broadcast any European Nickelodeon channels; in the UK they are broadcast by Nickelodeon UK, a joint venture between Viacom and BSkyB.

    Broadcast from the UK

    Being based in the United Kingdom, all MTVNE channels are regulated by the British television regulator Ofcom regardless of whether they are available in the UK. Ofcom has granted licenses to MTVNE to broadcast the following channels:

      MTV Denmark
      MTV Finland
      MTV Polska
      MTV Portugal
      MTV Latvia
      MTV Estonia
      MTV Lituania
      VH1 - Export
      VH1 Europe Classics

    Please note that the channels may not use these officially licensed names as their on-screen branding.

    The above MTV Networks Europe channels are all broadcast from a canal-side studio in Camden Town, London.
