MARS is the title of Japanese rocker/singer Gackt's first album. It was released in 2000. The album featured three singles; "Mirror", "OASIS" and the instant classic "Vanilla", popularized heavily in North America by a clip of live footage circulated on various P2P networks containing Gackt mounting his guitarist on stage. Each of the three singles are presented in different mixes than those found on the singles themselves.

    Notes
Though there are printed lyrics in the liner notes, "Ares" is sung completely in a made-up dialect some have called "Gacktese". "freesia〜op.2〜", an instrumental piece, also features printed words.
dears is also the name of Gackt's official fanclub (Gackt also calls the members "dears" as well.) The song was re-recorded for his album Love Letter.
