    Trident-based browsers
    The proprietary Trident layout engine was developed by Microsoft for use in their web browser, Internet Explorer.

      Maxthon (formerly known as MyIE2, includes both Gecko and Trident)
      Yahoo! Browser (or partnership browsers eg. "Verizon Yahoo! Browser"; "BT Yahoo! Browser" etc.)

    Gecko-based browsers
    The open source Gecko layout engine is developed by the Mozilla Foundation.

      Epiphany, GNOME's current default browser
      Lolifox, a Firefox-based browser customized for the anime internet community

    KHTML and WebKit-based browsers
    The open source KHTML layout engine is developed by the KDE project. WebKit is an open-source fork of that engine by Apple Computer.
