This is a list of islands currently (as at 2006) under the Republic of China administration (islands claimed but not administered by the ROC are not included on this list). All of the ROC claimed by the People's Republic of China. (A) Under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Province (B) Under the jurisdiction of Fukien Province (C) Under the jurisdiction of Kaohsiung Municipality These islands were part of Guangdong Province, and later the Hainan Special Administrative Region, before the relocation of the ROC government to Taipei in 1949. The ROC claims all the South China Sea Islands, but only administers Pratas and Taiping.
