    In the geological timescale, the Late Devonian epoch (from 385.3 ± 2.6 million years ago to 359.2 ± 2.5 million years ago) occurred during the Devonian period, after the end of the Givetian age.
    The Late Devonian epoch is subdivided into two stages: Frasnian and Famennian.
