Klumps are enemies in the Donkey Kong Country series. They are part of the Kremlings, a species of anthropomorphic alligators/crocodiles led by King K. Rool. They are always obese and generally have Gynecomastia, which is strange since it only occurs in mammals.

    Donkey Kong Country

Klump first appeared in Donkey Kong Country. The helmet he wears blocks Diddy's jump attacks, although they can be defeated with a frontal attack, or with one of DK's jump attacks. Klump reappeared in Donkey Kong Land and the Game Boy remakes of DKC.

    Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 2 (and Donkey Kong Land 2) featured a Kremling named Kannon, who fired cannonballs and barrels from his cannon. According to the game's instruction manual, Kannon is actually Klump in pirate fatigues.

    Donkey Kong Country 3

None of the enemies in Donkey Kong Country 3 or Donkey Kong Land III appeared to be Klump's equivalent. However, the game did feature an enemy named Bazuka, who was the equivalent of Kannon.

    Donkey Kong 64
Klump appeared again in Donkey Kong 64. This time, he was much fatter and threw unripe orange grenades at the Kongs, but one of the Kong's own orange grenades could defeat him. Klump is one of two enemies who drops three orange grenade when beaten (the other being Purple Klaptraps). Klump was a semi-common enemy in DK64, appearing in five of the game's eight stages.

Klump has not yet appeared in any of the newer Donkey Kong games.

    TV Show

Klump was also a character on the ''Donkey Kong Country'' TV series, as King K. Rool's scatter-brained general.

In the episode "Klump's Lumps", Klump befriend the Kongs (including Dixie Kong) after K. Rool exiled him. He also had a soft side for Dixie, which is clearly seen at the end of the episode - he finds her missing pet lobster, Thermidore, and secretly returns it to her. Later, the Christmas-themed episode "The Kongo Bongo Festival of Lights" revealed that he was the long lost brother of Kaptain Skurvy, whose appearance resembles that of Kannon.

On the show, Klump was voiced by the late Len Carlson, who had also been the voice of Ganon in ''The Legend of Zelda'' cartoon. Later he was replaced by Neil Ross.
