    A jobber may refer to:
In sports, particularly tennis, a player who merely gets the job of winning done through unimpressive, average, and often boring performances
A term relative to Philadelphia suburban highschool-student vernacular. Meaning attributed to a combination of derogatory terms used for young, white, middle class men between the ages of 16 and 35. Those deserving of the "jobber" title are the overly self confident, rude, loud, cleanly dressed individuals. For instances when the terms "idiot", "loser", or "retard" do not satisfy the insult needed, "jobber" may suffice.
A musician who joins a band with the sole purpose being to make money or play in the band as a temporary situation. A jobber has no real interest in the music and will move on when something better comes along.
Revolutionized in the Glengarry-Stormont counties of Eastern Ontario. "Jobber" defined and enriched the lives of many, but none more so than members of the Seaway Valley AA Rapids, Cornwall Midget A Royals, CharLan Jr. B Rebels and last but not least the Championship winning Donny O's/Dockside Big Jobbers of the Cornwall Avalanche Men's League.
Also made famous by Fraser Potts. Not to be confused with a b'Jobber. Usage: "Danny is a Jobber because he comes to work, does his job and leaves right when the horn blows."

A word coined by Nexfor of World of Warcraft fame referring to the packs of critters that inhabit the various raid level instances.
