Plot summary Tom Sullivan is a blind college student who wants to be normal. Tom and his friend Sly are out having a great time, going to bars and many other things. Tom meets a woman named Heather who he falls in love with, but their relationship doesn't last very long because of her being black. Tom is hurt because of it.
