Ideation is the process of forming and relating ideas. It is important in creativity, innovation and concept development. This concept is about opening ourselves up to creative communication skills, sharing our brainstorms, and allowing this to produce new collaborations and developments. Ideas are often assessed with tests of divergent thinking. These allow individuals to generate ideas. Unlike IQ tests, with one correct or conventional idea, divergent thinking allows individuals to explore and generate a large number of ideas.
