Hathor is a fictional character on the science fiction television show Stargate SG-1, related to Hathor of Egyptian mythology.

The Queen of Ra and mother of Heru-ur, she was imprisoned in a sarcophagus in South America. After her sarcophagus was discovered by a couple of archaeologists, she appeared at Cheyenne Mountain and tried to take over the Stargate Command briefly due to her power over men.

Hathor was a Goa'uld Queen, so she managed to disable all the men in the Stargate Command using her pheromones. She used them subsequently to rape Daniel Jackson and produce a new strain of Goa'uld larvae from his sperm. She attempted to make Jack O'Neill her first Jaffa, but was ultimately stopped by the women of the Stargate Command and by Teal'c, who, as a Jaffa, was not influenced by her powers. However, she managed to escape through the Stargate ("Hathor").

Later on, in "Out of Mind" and "Into the Fire", she captured all the members of SG-1 except Teal'c, in an attempt to acquire information to help her attack the System Lords, contact the Asgard so she can ally with them and to get the Iris codes. She created a mock-up of the SGC and made SG-1 believe that they had been frozen in stasis and that each one was the only survivor. When SG-1 found out about her trick, she put a Goa'uld symbiote into Jack O'Neill to attempt to extract his knowledge. A Tok'ra spy in Hathor's midst put O'Neill into stasis to prevent the Goa'uld from taking control.

General Hammond and Teal'c journeyed to Chulak to gain an army to free SG-1 from Hathor's control thanks to intel from the Tok'ra. After defeating the Goa'uld symbiote inside him, O'Neill killed Hathor by throwing her into what appears to be a vat of liquid nitrogen. Her small army was then defeated by a small army of Jaffa and Teal'c flying a variant death glider designed to fit through a Stargate.

    Trivia
Hathor usually refers to herself as "we." Early in the series, it was suggested that this referred to both host and symbiote. More likely, Hathor, as the Queen of the Supreme System Lord, used the royal "we" to denote herself from "lesser" Queens.

Hathor always called Daniel "our beloved," a reference to her use of his DNA to create Goa'uld larvae.

The producers of SG-1 have since declared Hathor's original episode, Hathor, to be non-canon; citing various plotholes within the episode and a lack of continuity with the remainder of the series. How this reconciles with her reappearance later in the series has not been explained.
