The HMS Activity was an aircraft carrier which served with the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom during World War II.
Description The Activity was a cargo ship converted in the United Kingdom for use as an escort carrier for convoys in the Arctic Ocean. Similar to the ''Bogue'' class escort carriers of the United States, British construction was deemed more durable for Arctic convoy protection, as the extreme cold proved capable of creating cracks in American welded vessels.
