Galen John Strawson (born 1952) is a British philosopher who works primarily on philosophy of mind, metaphysics (including free will, Hume, and ethics). Strawson taught at Oxford for many years and now is a professor at Reading University and at the City University of New York Graduate Center, and has served as editor of the Times Literary Supplement for many years. Galen Strawson is the son of P. F. Strawson.
