    Fred Archer or Frederick Archer is the name of:
      Fred Archer (jockey) (Frederick James Archer), a successful English jockey during the 19th century.
      Fred Archer (photographer), the co-inventor (with Ansel Adams) of the zone system. (Not to be confused with Frederick Scott Archer, below).
