    For the policy of a state towards other states, see foreign policy.

    Foreign Policy is a bimonthly American magazine founded in 1970 by Samuel P. Huntington and Warren Demian Manshel. It is published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. Its topics include global politics, economics, integration and ideas. It targets a non-specialized audience, and has a readership of 10 million throughout 90 countries. It is the winner of the 2003 National Magazine Award for general excellence.

    In early 2006, the magazine expanded its web presence by launching a blog, Foreign Policy Passport.

    Its top editors include Moisés Naím and William Dobson.
