Fifth is a fictional 'human-form' Replicator in the television show Stargate SG-1, played by Patrick Currie. Fifth was the fifth of the so-called 'human-form' Replicators, modelled off the android Reese. He was the first attempt at reproducing her emotions, but was considered a failure by the first four human-forms before him, who considered him weak and thus created Sixth to be like them. The replicators formed a family unit of sorts, with First as the father, Third and Fifth as the sons, and Second, Fourth, and Sixth as the daughters, however this "family" lacked any human warmth and existed only to lead the immense army of Replicators. Fifth first appeared in the episode "Unnatural Selection", where he met SG-1 on a Replicator controlled planet. He developed an interest in Major Carter and because of his feelings for her agreed to help the team in trapping his comrades in a time-dilation prison, developed by the Asgard. However Colonel O'Neill didn't trust him and ordered Major Carter to set the time for the trap to be acivated shorter than planned. Although she was reluctant about this, she did as ordered and Fifth discovered that he was betrayed shortly before the trap activated. He also realized that Sam used his own humanity against him. After two years passed in real time, the Replicators were finally able to escape their prison. Fifth became the leader of the Replicators and commanded a ship to attack the Asgard's new homeworld. However before he attacks he kidnaps Major Carter to get revenge on her. After she betrayed him he developed negative emotions, especially towards her, and used his telepatic powers to torture her and play with her mind. However when his ship arrived at the Asgard planet, it was destroyed but Fifth was able to escape with Carter and created a base on the planet. There Carter was able to convince him to let go of his hatred and release her - only for him to escape and later create another human-form Replicator which resembles Carter and even has her memories. ("New Order (Parts 1 and 2)") Fifth appeared for a final time in "Gemini", where 'RepliCarter' tricked both Fifth and the SGC. RepliCarter convinced Fifth that she is working on a plan to take out the Alpha Site's defenses while telling the SGC she could help modify their weapons to defeat Fifth and his Replicator armies. Eventually she used the weapons to kill Fifth, took his armies, and then immunized her forces against the weapon, devised by Col. O'Neill and Thor to destroy the replicators, and escaped.
