The Federal Constitution of the United States of Indonesia (Indonesian Republik Indonesia Serikat) replaced the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia when sovereignty was officially transferredfrom Holland to Indonesia following the Renville Agreement. It came into force on December 27 1949 and was replaced by the Provisional Constitution of 1950 on August 17 1950.
