Featherstone is a small village on the border between Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire, England. Originally a mining community, the main pit Hilton main closed in 1969.
The villages population is approximately 6,000 and is represented in the House of Commons by Member of Parliament Sir Patrick Cormack. The village has one primary school, Whitgreave Primary School, and a pub, the Red, White and Blue.

Recently controversy has sparked over the proposed building of 1500 houses on green belt land, although many people believe the extra facilities proposed will make the village a better place to live.
