Fashion House is an American telenovela airing at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT Monday through Saturday on MyNetworkTV stations. The series premiered on September 5, 2006. It is produced by Twentieth Television. Fashion House focuses on greed, lust and ambition surrounding a violent corporate takeover of the business's hottest company. It stars Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild. The program is airing for a 65 episode run. An episode runs Monday through Friday for 13 weeks, with a "recap" show on Saturdays airing at 9 p.m. Eastern. It is based on the Cuban telenovela Salir de Noche (Out in the Night, Anglicized as Fashion House). Salir de Noche was produced by Miami firm XYSTUS. Its debut week saw modest viewership; an average 1.3 household rating and 2 share, slightly higher than its lead in, Desire, according to Nielsen.* The second week dipped to 1.1 million viewers.* During the next few weeks, ratings stabilized at a 0.6 rating.* National advertising spots sell for a bargain rate: between $20,000 and $35,000 for a 30-second spot.* MyNetworkTV originally planned to use the umbrella title Secrets, later changed to Secret Obsessions, for its telenovelas in the 9:00 p.m. ET timeslot, with Fashion House as its first installment. Each series is now titled separately. The Fashion House theme was recorded by the band Chesterwhite.
