    Criticism
Extreme Paintbrawl had an extremely poor reception and is widely considered one of the worst video games ever made. The game was heavily criticised for being made with a lack of AI programming; that section of the code was far from being implemented. It was also criticised for its horrible physics and abysmal graphics.

The game received the lowest rating on IGN.com: 0.7/10 (however, score-wise, it has been beaten out by Olympic Hockey Nagano '98, which got a 0/10, although that game never received an official review).

Surprisingly, the game managed to start a series. Extreme Paintbrawl 2, 3 and 4 have all been released and are generally considered as bad, if not worse, than the original game.
