Equilibrium is a band from Germany. Although the band calls its music "Epic Viking Metal" they are generally considered a viking metal band. The band combines various elements of folk and Black metal. The band is relatively new to the Black Metal scene but has had some success, especially with their newest album Turis Fratyr. Their lyrics are about scandinavia tales and norse mythology in general. Three of the band members have left since the release of Turis Fratyr so it may be possible that their next album (called Sagas) will sound substantially different.
