The Henry S. Drinker House was constructed in 1902 on the campus of Haverford College. It was originally built for Haverford professor William Comfort. William Comfort became president of the College in 1917. Drinker House was home to many important professors at Haverford from its construction in 1902 until being converted to the music building in 1961. It was then named in honor of Professor Henry S. Drinker, a former cricket player at Haverford. Henry S. Drinker went on to a distinguished law and academic career. In 1974, Drinker was converted to student housing. *
Drinker House is currently home to student housing, and is the headquarters for the Annual Drinker Toy Drive.
