In the New Jedi Order novel Vector Prime, Kyp Durron led a fighter squadron which he named the Dozen and Two Avengers. It received this name because there were twelve normal pilots and two Jedi pilots (Kyp and Miko Regalia).
Summary After visiting Dubrillion, the planet which Lando Calrissian administrated over, Kyp and his squadron moved to the Helska system. There they found the Praetorite Vong. The Vong attacked them. Only Kyp Durron managed to escape from the battle. Miko Reglia was captured, and all of the other pilots were killed in the attack. Later, Kyp reorganized the squadron and it came to be known as Kyp's Dozen. Ships Used Known Members | ||||||||
