Dogpile® is a metasearch engine that "fetches" results from Google, Yahoo!, Windows Live Search (formerly MSN Search), Ask.com, About.com, MIVA, LookSmart and several other popular search engines, including from audio and video content providers. Dogpile is a registered trademark of InfoSpace, Inc.

Dogpile began operations in November of 1996, became part of the Go2Net Network in 1999 and was acquired by InfoSpace in 2000. InfoSpace also owns and operates the metasearch engines Metacrawler, Webcrawler and Excite.

In 2005, Dogpile published a study about first page web search engine results overlap. The study showed 3% overlap between Google, Yahoo!, and Ask Jeeves. 85% of the results were unique to one of the three engines.

    Dogpile's other features include:
      Favorite Fetches
SearchSpy, which allows the user to see real-time searches (filtered or unfiltered).
      A daily joke.
      Weather.

Dogpile's mascot is a dog, specifically a Dalmatian, named "Arfie", that "fetches" search results in news, web, images, and music. Like the Google logo, Arfie will occasionally change his appearance for certain holidays and other events.
