David Ross is a British actor who has worked in drama, cinema, and television. His best-known roles include "Kryten" and the voice of the "Talkie Toaster" on the televised science fiction comedy Red Dwarf, "Elgin" on the BBC sitcom The Green Green Grass, and "Mr. Sedley" in a 1998 BBC miniseries adapatation of William Makepeace Thackeray's novel Vanity Fair.
