    Claremont Graduate University (formerly The Claremont Graduate School) was founded in 1925 in the city of Claremont, California, as the first academic institution in North America to devote itself entirely to graduate study. Now it is associated with another such institution, the Keck Graduate Institute. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

    Claremont Graduate University is also a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium.
