This page is about the actor Christopher Patton. For the former Governor of Hong Kong or European Commissioner for foreign relations, see Chris Patten.
Christopher David Patton (born March 15, 1971 in Houston, Texas) has been acting since early childhood, and voice acting for Funimation Entertainment and ADV Films for eight years. He has voiced over 100 anime titles, played hundreds of characters, and appeared at over 40 anime conventions. He is most-often associated with his character "Greed" in Fullmetal Alchemist and "Sousuke Sagara" from the Full Metal Panic series, but his more "hardcore" fans tend to associate his voice with "Sasame" from Pretear, "Ayato" from RahXephon, or "Fakir" from Princess Tutu. For many years, Chris was known as the "go-to" voice actor for the "angsty pretty boy" roles, but has since had a chance to branch out into voicing all form of psychotic villains, and in some cases, normal boys as well, such as the lead character in "The Place Promised in our Early Days". Recently Chris returned to the stage, with fellow voice actors Monica Rial and Greg Ayres in a live production of Richard O'Brien's "Rocky Horror Show," in which Patton and Ayres swapped the roles of Dr. Frank N Furter and the creepy butler Riff Raff. Chris is also co-front man of an electropop/ebm band that is just starting to make some waves in the US and the UK underground, called PLID.
